Promoting the Welsh language on the high streets of Gwynedd, and supporting local businesses, is a core part of the work of Menter Iaith Gwynedd. We aim to achieve this by visiting business owners to offer ideas, resources, and information, as well as promoting businesses on our social media through the ‘Hapus i Siarad’ (Happy to Speak) scheme, which is a national initiative to promote Welsh-language service within businesses.
